Letters are done!
That's right, DC has worked his magic, and we now have a complete comic!!!
What does that all mean...
Digital rewards are coming!
We're going to take next week to make sure we have everything just right and then all digital only reward pledges will receive their surveys by the end of next week, and their digital rewards shortly after!
Updated Timeline
-Week of July 19th: Digital Surveys and Digital Rewards sent to Digital only backers.
-Week of July 19th: Send files to printer
-Early/Mid August: Receive finished printed comics
-Mid/Late August: Physical Reward Surveys send out
-Late August/Early September: Ship all physical rewards!!!
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! I'm super excited for everyone to read this next chapter in Forgotten Hymns! But before I go, here's a great project I'm currently backing on Kickstarter!
House of Fear team of the amazingly talented James Powell and Jethro Morales are back with a monster-size 8th issue of House of Fear, which is a series that introduces kids to the thrills of scary stories. House of Fear blends everything you love about Goosebumps and Tales From the Crypt. And this campaign is for a monstrous 64-page issue features three new, stand-alone stories!

Art has been sent to the letterer!
First off, I want to thank everyone for all the kind words in regard to our new addition at home! Both mom and baby are doing great, and we're all starting to settle in. So, expect more regular updates from me moving forward now that the dust of a newborn baby is starting to settle!
That said, all of the finished artwork was sent to DC before June ended (about a week and a half ago)! That means we should have a finished comic in the near future!
What does this mean for you....
Surveys are coming!
This time around, we'll be using backerkit to collect our survey information. For those unfamiliar with backerkit, it's a service outside of Kickstarter that collects survey information that will better help us to delever both physical and digital rewards!
However, for those unfamiliar with backerkit, you'll receive an email from backerkit, not from Kickstarter, for this campaign. So, keep your eyes open for those backerkit survey emails.
Updated timeline
- First two weeks of July: Finish letters
- Mid July: Digital Only Reward Survey will be emailed to all Digital Only backers
- Mid July: All finished art files sent to our printer
- End of July/Early August: Receive finished printed books.
- Early August: Physical Reward Survey will be emailed to all Physical Reward backers that will include digital rewards.
- Mid August: Ship all physical rewards to backer!

Rendering is almost complete!
Isaac has been a man on a mission! We only have the last few pages to render and than Forgotten Hymns issue #2 will be sent to DC for letters!!!

Sorry for the lack of updates but....
As many of you know, we were expecting our second child shortly after our Kickstarter campaign ended. At almost exactly a week late, our little guy finally decided to say hello to the world! Both mom and baby are doing well!
Current Project Timeline:
- Now-end of June: Finish rendering the remaining pages of FH issue #2
- Early-Mid July: DC will letter pages
- Early-Mid July: Order all rewards
- End July-Early Aug: Digital Rewards sent to all backers, send files to printer
- End Aug-Early Sept: Receive Printed comics
- Mid-Late Sept: Ship all physical rewards!
